On the heels of a successful collaborative debut with the Jasper Zionic Sneaker, KEEN and Gramicci are reteaming on a second footwear collaboration.
Part water sandal, part hiking shoe, the Newport Retro Sandal is the centerfold of the sophomore link-up from the pair, which comes crafted with a durable hemp upper and lined with Gramicci’s signature zig-zag mountain stitching.
With trail performance at the core of the collaborative design, the dual-minded hybrid silhouette sees an adjustable bungee fit. The waterproof offering also comes complete with hemp-webbing, a slip-resistant grip, and, like all KEEN footwear models, it’s PFAS-free and pesticide-free.

“Newport in hemp is a masterpiece that has been released a few times in the past and was a big hit, especially in Japan,” says Kohei Yamazaki, KEEN’s chief designer at the brand’s Tokyo Design Center. “It’s even more special now to bring it back with Gramicci as part of their HEMP capsule collection. We’re both dipping into our archives, looking back to take a step forward for the planet.”
