Kevin Durant and Nike Basketball just teamed up to officially introduce the world to the Nike KD 18 this month. The shoe technically debuted during his 17th season in the league, which came to an early conclusion due to a left ankle sprain at the end of March, combined with the Phoenix Suns not making it into postseason play due to their underwhelming 36-46 regular season record.
While uncertainty circles Durant’s future with the Suns, a report regarding his upcoming footwear projects has been shared. A new rumor breakdown shared by SneakerMarketRO states that the Nike KD 6 will be returning to shelves next year, following the retro rollout of the KD 3 and KD 4 in recent years. It’s said to have both its “All-Star” and “Peanut Butter Jelly” flavors returning to shelves in original form.
At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not yet confirmed that Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 6 will be returning next year.
