CASETiFY Releases “THINK OUTSIDE THE CASE” with Re/CASETiFY Initiative

CASETiFY has always been about injecting colour and personality into everyday essentials—from tech accessories to luggage—turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. Now, in honour of Earth Day, the brand is pushing boundaries once again with its Re/CASETiFY initiative, proving that sustainability and creativity go hand in hand.

CASETiFY will release its first-ever 2024 sustainability report this year, sharing that it recycled over 2.1 million phone cases and diverted more than 105,000 kg of plastic waste from landfills since 2021. However, the brand’s environmentally conscious aspirations are far from satisfied—this is only the beginning of CASETiFY’s sustainable impact. Through reimagining tech accessory waste, the company shows the creative possibilities that can emerge from out-of-the-box innovation like upcycling and reworking discarded materials.

To bring this program to life, CASETiFY enlisted the brainpower of contemporary creatives who are changing the game by breathing new life into old materials.

Cody Hoyt, the New York-based designer known for his distinctive perspective on using bold colour and geometric patterns, took the concept beyond phone cases. He constructed a mosaic-inspired bench entirely from repurposed CASETiFY cases, turning what was once waste into a vibrant, functional piece of furniture. His work embodies the idea that sustainability doesn’t have to sacrifice style; it can enhance it.

Completing the trio is Hong Kong’s reEDIT LAB, a creative studio celebrated for its upcycled collaborations with major brands. For Re/CASETiFY, they designed multicoloured phone stands made entirely from repurposed materials, proving that eco-conscious design can be both practical and playful.

The bench crafted by Cody Hoyt will be showcased at the CASETiFY K11 Musea Store in Hong Kong, while the phone stand made by reEDIT LAB will be available as a complimentary gift with purchases made at selective stores across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and South Korea*.
