Sinners, the latest film by Ryan Coogler, stars longtime collaborator Michael B. Jordan, and by the look of trailers dominating your feed, promises to be a bloody good time. Twin brothers Smoke and Stack (portrayed by Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to be confronted by a supernatural evil. The film also features Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton (in his film debut), Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Buddy Guy, and Delroy Lindo. Marking the fifth collaboration between Coogler and Jordan, Sinners is the best-reviewed wide release of the year.
To mark 2025’s next blockbuster, Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God teamed up with Coogler to create a limited-edition capsule. Highlights include a graphic hoodie and T-shirt painted with “Sinners” and “Dance With the Devil” lettering, nodding to the film’s use of music as a storytelling vehicle. Bold colorblocking and co-branded logos mark the film’s anticipated debut. “I’ve intertwined my ‘sinful’ past with our God-fearing brand…It’s within these fragile moments that we either meet our destruction, or find the clarity to evolve and be redirected,” Lorenzo announced on Instagram ahead of the capsule drop. Proceeds from the limited-edition apparel pieces were donated to the Altadena Community Fund.
On the footwear front, Michael B. Jordan tapped renowned sneaker customizer Andu to create the one-of-a-kind “Smoke & Stack Juke Low.” Andu’s fully custom kicks channel visual motifs of light and darkness (salvation and damnation), blending the instantly recognizable facade of Tabi oxfords with ASICS’ sleek sports aesthetic. Blue and red stripes decorate the sidewalls, while a split-toe design disrupts the shoe’s leather construction and chunky midsole. Despite its modern references, the unique silhouette injects a touch of Southern charm, nodding to vintage 1930s oxford boots. To release the sneaker, Jordan teamed up with StockX, the Detroit-based sneaker resale marketplace. Available only in size 10 — per Jordan’s request — the shoe will be exclusively available on StockX. With a $1.00 USD bid, customers will have the chance to win the pair. The bid window opens today at noon ET.

And lastly, fifth-generation heritage brand Bridgeforth Cotton has released a T-shirt capsule evoking the film’s vibrant musical and visual language. The four-piece capsule introduces “Hugs,” a custom design commissioned by artist/designer Phillip Okonma, founder of Rhyan and Rhyse. The eye-catching illustration depicts Smoke and Stack in a warm embrace. Founded in 1877 by George Bridgeforth in Tanner, Alabama, Bridgeforth Cotton is a Black-owned business with deep roots in the American South. The capsule is currently available on Bridgeforth Cotton’s website and Tillys.
