Jamie Foy is a two-time Thrasher Skater of the Year, a longtime Street League Skateboarding competitor, and he’s sponsored by heavy hitters like Deathwish, New Balance Numeric, and Spitfire.
However, before all of that, Foy was just a skate-loving kid from Florida — Deerfield Beach, to be specific. Now, with Street League Skateboarding set to make its Miami debut, Foy took Hypebeast on a tour of Vice City to show us his favorite skate spots, places to grab a bite and more.

After a quick fishing trip, which Foy describes as a “nice way to unwind from skating,” he stops by Charm City Burgers in his hometown of Deerfield Beach, where he’s been coming his entire life. Then, it’s time to head to Miami, so Foy pulls out his 2022 Dodge Charger, a Widebody Redeye Jailbreak.
Miami’s famed Lot 11 skatepark is a must-visit for Foy, who describes it as “one of the best skateparks in the world.” He also sneaks onto the F1 Miami racetrack to bust a quick 360 flip and heads to COTE Korean Steakhouse in the city’s design district.
