The Giggly Squad has finally made its way to The Drew Barrymore Show.

Podcasters Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner joined co-hosts Drew Barrymore and Ross Mathews at the Drew’s News desk this morning for a “Drew Debate” about a recent trend that allows parents to “swipe right” for their kids on dating apps. While 79% of the audience disagreed with the trend, Berner and DeSorbo joined the 21% who would want their parents’ help.

“This is a hot take. If my mom doesn’t like him, I don’t like him. If you can’t charm my mom, how are you gonna charm me?” Berner said.

DeSorbo, who is recently single and close to her parents, shared similar sentiments.

“I feel like I would love an arranged marriage if my mom picked who I was marrying,” she joked. “I think that arranged marriage should come back because I want it.”

DeSorbo’s dating life has been a hot topic ever since she announced her split from Southern Charm star Craig Conover in December 2024 after three years of dating. The final few months of their relationship have been playing out on Season 9 of Summer House, with DeSorbo airing her grievances about Conover in the Summer House After Show.

“I think I loved him so much that I tolerated too much. And now that I’m out of it and I look back on things, I’m like, oh, wait, anytime that I had a career milestone, he found a way to make it about him,” she said. “Or anytime there was something and it was for me — it was my friend’s wedding or a family wedding — he would find a way to make it about him and make me have a bad time. It was just embarrassing.”

DeSorbo admitted that there were times when she would withhold career milestones from Conover because she knew “deep down” he wouldn’t be happy for her.

“I feel like when I meet my husband I’ll want to call him before I call my dad,” she said. “And I haven’t met anyone like that yet.”

The Drew Barrymore Show airs on weekdays on CBS. You can check the website for local airtimes.
