Whether you’ve already filed your taxes, you’re filing them by tomorrow’s April 15 deadline, or you’re filing for an extension, plenty of restaurants across the country want to make sure your Tax Day is as sweet as can be — with some salty offerings.
Here are some of the places that are offering customers a special treat or deal on April 15.
Krispy Kreme (DNUT) customers who purchase an assorted or Original Glazed dozen of doughnuts will get a second box of 12 for just the price of sales tax. Online customers can use the code TAXBREAK.
Burger King’s (QSR) Royal Perks members can get a 1-cent cheeseburger on April 15 with a purchase of $1 or more. The offer can be found in the offers tab on the chain’s app or online.
Anyone who places a Tax Day order for $20-plus from 7-Eleven (SVNDY) can get $10.40 off of their delivery with the code WRITEOFF.
Shake Shack (SHAK) customers can get a free single Black Truffle Burger, Black Truffle ‘Shroom, or Black Truffle Parmesan Fries with a purchase of $10.40 or more using the code TRUFFLETAX. The promotion runs through April 27.
On Tax Day, Casey’s Rewards members who purchase a large pizza will receive a “pizza refund” (a free, large, one-topping pizza) in their account. Customers have until May 6 to redeem their freebie.
Smoothie King Healthy Rewards Members will get $3 off any $15 purchase and $4 off any $20 purchase on April 15.
Hooters customers can use the app on April 15 to see which appetizers will be $4.15 (at participating locations) when you apply your reward in the chain’s app. Options include mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, chips and queso, and buffalo shrimp.
Potbelly (PBPB) will offer customers a free Original sandwich with any purchase of an Original or Big sandwich on April 15. The free sandwich can be redeemed on the company’s app or website using the code BOGO.
