Fans of Jennifer Garner couldn’t believe her unique childhood haircut after the actress shared a throwback photo with her lookalike sisters in honor of National Siblings Day.
The Party Down star shared the personal snap on Instagram on April 10, which looked to be a professional family photo of herself and her sisters, Melissa and Susannah. She wrote alongside the image, “Happy #NationalSiblingsDay to my sisters! (And thank you for the haircuts, Mom).”
In the throwback photo, Garner was at the top of the image in the back, with her sisters on either side, but they looked so alike that some people couldn’t figure out which one was the actress. One thing that really made the sisters look alike was the haircuts, with all three siblings rocking bangs while the younger two had similar shaggy bobs.
Fans commented on the hairstyles, as many also wore a similar style in the past. One called it “Brutal but effective and low maintenance,” while others said, “Omg I had that same exact haircut at that age haha,” and “Ahhh, the classic 80s home haircuts. Our shared trauma.”
Another declared them the “Most excellent homemade haircuts ā¤ļø,” as someone else questioned, “Maybe I need to stop cutting my daughters hair too š.”
Other fans were simply stunned by the stark similarities between the sisters, with many complimenting Garner on her family’s “Strong genes! š.” Some declared that they were “Triplets of different agesā¦ wowā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø,” or said, “You were cloned. You have very dominant genetics.”
A different fan admitted, “I thought this was one of those AI things where they put the same face on three peopleā¦”
Others commented on how similar Garner’s children with ex-husband Ben Affleck look to her and her sisters, such as one who replied, “Wow genetics run strong because now look at your kids, they all look like you!” Affleck and Garner share three kids: Violet, Fin, and Samuel.
