Toni Braxton and Birdman reportedly tied the knot last summer — but may no longer be together.
The two secretly said “I do” on Aug. 8, 2024, according to divorce documents obtained by TMZ Thursday.
However, Braxton, 57, filed to end their marriage just two weeks later, stating that their union was “irretrievably broken.”
The “He Wasn’t Man Enough” singer listed their date of separation as Aug. 10 — just two days after their wedding.
Although their honeymoon phase was clearly short-lived, the two may have worked things out as Braxton dismissed the divorce petition in January 2025, per the outlet.
Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Christopher Williams, notably signed off on her decision, meaning the two are still legally married.
However, it’s unclear if Braxton and the “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” rapper, 56, are still an item in real life or just on paper.
The “Un-Break My Heart” singer notably isn’t wearing a wedding ring in any of her recent Instagram uploads. They have also both deleted photos of each other from their respective feeds.
Reps for Birdman and Braxton did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
The two have been in an on-again, off-again relationship ever since they started dating in May 2016 following decades of friendship.
The Cash Money Records executive popped the question with a massive $1 million diamond ring in early 2018.
Although the two briefly called off their engagement in 2019, they reconciled weeks later.
However, in late December 2023, Braxton denied rumors that she and Birdman got married and insisted they were no longer together.
“My dear friend @birdman and I are not married…never been married,” she wrote. “We are both single.”
She also labeled the rumors as “#FAKENEWS.”
While they didn’t head into 2024 as a couple, they reportedly ended the year married.
This would be Birdman’s first marriage. However, he shares son Bryan Williams Jr., 28, and daughter Bria, 27, with a woman named Tia whom he dated in the ’90s.
Meanwhile, Braxton was married to Keri Lewis from 2001 to 2013. The exes share sons Denim, 23, and Diezel, 22.
