Hawk Tuah Girl, whose real name is Haliey Welch, has some big news to share.
The popular influencer, who rose to fame thanks to an on-the-street interview in Nashville, Tennessee last year, announced some big news of her own this week.
Welch, who launched her own podcast, “Talk Tuah,” took a break for a couple of months, following her meme coin controversy. The Hawk Tuah meme coin rose high and then crashed hard, costing investors lots of money. Welch was accused of being behind the financial disruption, though she maintains she had no ill intentions.
Earlier this year, Welch returned to her podcast, and she’s recently announced some big news of her own.
Welch is getting into acting.
The popular influencer has landed a cameo role in Glen Powell’s upcoming TV series, “Chad Powers.” The upcoming Hulu series is a project backed by Eli Manning, whose Chad Powers prank video, in which he pretended to walk onto the Penn State football program, went super viral.
Powell is set to play Russ Holliday, a former Oregon Ducks quarterback who gets banned from playing due to eligibility issues. He then assumes the identity of Chad Powers in order to rejoin the sport under a new name.
Welch is set to make a cameo in the upcoming Hulu series.
