Hermès has presented its 2025 home collection as Milan Design Week kicks into full swing. Returning to La Pelota with surreal scenography designed by home creative directors Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry, the brand departs from its heritage-focused aesthetic for a colorful range evoking early Modernist movements.

A series of suspended alcoves built into the stark white space hold products from various categories, including furniture, soft goods, and dinnerware. Below, glowing auras of different hues imbue objects like drinking glasses, throws, and tables with an esoteric sensibility.

Translucent side tables by Tomás Alonso evoke the color-blocked artworks of Piet Mondrian in contemporary jewel tones. Characterized by a multicolor grid enclosing large circles of different shades, the cashmere throw by Amer Musa recalls the 20th-century abstract art movement and Bauhaus sensibilities. Other pieces, including the vase and the basket, continue the geometric motifs while incorporating different leathers to root the collection in Hermès’s leatherwork. Finally, a 33-piece Hermès porcelain table set features repeating geometric patterns reminiscent of the Art Deco period.

Last year, Hermès’ installation looked much different, opting for a dimly lit installation centered on the natural qualities of organic materials like brick, stone, and wood. After marking 10 years leading Maison’s home collections in 2024, Perelman and Fabry’s futuristic environment casts Hermès home projects in a new forward-facing light.

Hermès 2025 home collection will be displayed at La Pelota (via Palermo 10) until Sunday, April 13, 2025.
