There’s truly never a dull moment in the Richards-Sheen family! Over the course of 7 episodes of Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, we’ve seen matriarch Denise Richards deal with many challenges: navigating the tricky dynamic between daughters Sami Sheen and Lola Sheen; reuniting with exes Patrick Muldoon and Charlie Sheen; working out her differences with former RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne; and, juggling professional obligations. Of all the roles she plays, “mom” always comes first for Denise.
This exclusive clip from tonight’s all-new episode begins with Denise waiting anxiously for her daughter Sami at a family photoshoot. Much to her dismay, she receives a text from her daughter that reads: “I think my car got stolen; it’s gone.” Denise cries, “oh my God” in disbelief. Her social media manager Justen and her publicist Jill Fritzo rush to her side. “Sami’s car just got fucking stolen,” explains Denise.
“Like towed or stolen?” asks Justyn. Denise immediately calls Sami, who picks up and exclaims: “my fucking car is gone. I don’t know what to do.” “Call the police,” suggests Denise, helpfully. “I don’t wanna go today; I just want to stay home,” replies Sami, trying to bail from the photoshoot. “You have to fucking go today,” says Denise firmly. “We can send a car for you to come here.”
“It is what it is,” continues Denise. “It’s not going to bring your car back.” As Sami listens on the line, Denise whips into crisis mode. “You just need to call the police.” Though she knows her mother is right, Sami begins to murmur in protest. “When you have to do something, you have to show up,” says Denise.
In her confessional, Denise admits she knows this is a teaching moment for her daughter. “I think this is such a great opportunity, especially since Sami wants to model, and she is just starting out,” explains Denise. “She’s just starting out, and you don’t want word to get around that you’re being difficult or you’re not gonna show up the day of—it’s not cool.”
“Can I just call them please?” asks Sami, wanting to end their conversation and report her stolen car to the police. “Yes, call me back,” instructs Denise. “Okay, bye,” groans Sami as she hangs up. Denise looks around her and straight into the camera. “Whatever,” she laughs as she throws up her hands. “I don’t know what to say.”
