Marjorie Taylor Greene tells British reporter asking about Signal scandal to ‘go back to your country’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene shut down a British journalist who was trying to ask a question about the leaked Signal messages related to US military strikes on the Houthis in Yemen Wednesday — telling the reporter to “go back to your country.”

The Georgia Republican — fresh out of a congressional hearing on allegations of bias at NPR and PBS — snapped when Sky News correspondent Martha Kelner attempted to ask her about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth divulging details of the March 15 strikes in Yemen in the encrypted messaging app.

“Wait. What country are you from?” Greene asked seconds after hearing Kelner’s accent.

When the reporter responded that she was from the United Kingdom, the congresswoman refused to even let her finish her question, let alone answer it.

“OK, we don’t give a crap about your opinion and your reporting,” Greene said. “Why don’t you go back to your country, where you have a major migrant problem.

“No, no, no, no — you should care about your own borders,” the GOP firebrand continued, as Kelner persisted.

“Do you care about American lives being put at risk?” the reporter interjected.

“Let me tell you something,” Greene responded. “Do you care about people from your country? What about all the women that are raped by migrants?”

“You’re done — I don’t care about your fake news,” the congresswoman snapped as she sought out an “American journalist” to ask her a question.

The next reporter Greene called on, however, asked the congresswoman to answer Kelner’s question.

Greene refused but offered to answer it if the American reporter posed the question, which he did.

“You want to know about complete disregard for operational security? You should talk about the Biden administration and how they ripped our borders open to terrorist cartels, child sex trafficking, human trafficking and drug trafficking across our borders for four years,” the lawmaker said.

“The Trump administration is doing a great job, and I stand by their statements.”
