Could “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” be right around the corner?
After taking some time out of the spotlight following her appearance at the Super Bowl to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, Taylor Swift shared a video message during Monday night’s iHeartRadio Music Awards 2025, where her record-breaking Eras Tour was honored as the tour of the century.
And while she swapped her usual sparkly red carpet fare for something subtler — a long-sleeved black sweater and plaid Miu Miu miniskirt — her slim silver choker, which appeared to be shaped like a snake, instantly caught Swifties’ eyes.
“IS THAT A SNAKE NECKLACE?” one fan posted on X (formerly Twitter), while another wrote, “rep tv in the air.”
After Kim Kardashian compared Swift to a slithering serpent on social media in 2016, the Grammy winner reclaimed the reptile as the unofficial mascot of 2017’s “Reputation,” sporting python prints and snake-inspired jewelry during the album’s rollout and even bringing an enormous inflatable cobra onstage with her while touring the record.
As for her most recent concert series, Swift reflected on all things Eras in her pre-recorded message that played during tonight’s ceremony.
“This tour was absolutely the most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life … and it really was the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done,” she said. “It blows my mind, and I’m never gonna stop being grateful for it.”
Following her speech, Swift introduced a taped tour performance of “Mirrorball” — filmed during the acoustic set of her very first Eras performance in Glendale, Arizona, exactly two years ago.
Swift led this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations with a total of 10 nods, including artist of the year, best collaboration, best music video and best lyrics.
She last attended the iHeartRadio awards in 2023, sporting a shimmering hooded jacket-and-pant combo from Alexandre Vauthier Couture befitting her “Midnights” era. She took home a whopping five trophies, including song of the year, pop album of the year and best lyrics.
In 2019, Swift shimmered at the same event in an iridescent Rosa Bloom romper and butterfly-winged Sophia Webster heels that were right in line with her “Lover” aesthetic. And for the 2016 show, the superstar selected a skintight sequined black catsuit from Saint Laurent that exuded big “Bad Blood” energy.
Swift’s latest (virtual) appearance follows the end of the NFL season, her headline-making appearance at February’s Grammys and the end of the Eras Tour, which concluded in Vancouver in December after nearly two years.
At both the Grammys and the Super Bowl, the musician turned heads in a ruby “T” pendant she co-designed with celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz — first styled as a sultry leg chain in a nod to her “Guilty as Sin?” lyrics, and later reworked as a layered necklace.
Swift may be enjoying some well-earned downtime, but it’s clear her fashion Easter eggs aren’t taking any time off.
