It’s been an interesting season on The Bachelor. Normally I can tell you all about the drama, the reasons behind it, and who dislikes whom, but Grant Ellis’s season of The Bachelor has been a bit tougher to explain. There’s been drama, of course, but it all seems to be a bit recycled. If anything, the only drama I have cared about since night one is from the previews, which centers on the decision Grant faces within himself heading into the final rose ceremony. He is torn between which woman to chose (TBD on who the final two women are), so much so that host Jesse Palmer has to ask him which woman to send out first (99% of the time, the person that goes first is sent home).
However, given that there are still two weeks until The Bachelor finale (Monday, March 24, to be exact), I’m here to urge you not to sit out tonight’s “Women Tell All” special. Sure, you might be tired of some of these women (I know I am), but the “Tell All” actually offers the most comprehensive explanation of what happened this season, especially if you have been a more casual viewer this time around.
Case in point: this clip below, featuring Jesse, Grant, Carolina, and Dina, which is so wild (and wildly entertaining) that even our poor Bachelor can’t mask his discomfort with the situation. Take a look:
One, I am here for Dina’s glasses. Two, love me Carolina’s Tiffany blue suit. And three, “I bought you another week! You were supposed to go home,” is the best tease a tell-all has ever produced.
In fact, after the taping, when I spoke with Grant, he admitted maybe he could have done more to defuse certain situations this season, but he wanted to see how it would play out. (He’s certainly getting his chance now.)
What we do know is it’s all going to come to a head in tonight’s episode, followed by the fantasy-suite dates on Monday, March 17, and then the finale and “After the Final Rose” on the 24th. And to be frank, I’m finally here for it.
The Bachelor: “Women Tell All” airs on ABC on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT, and streaming the next day on Hulu.
