Less than a week after the 2025 Oscars, many of Hollywood’s best and brightest were back on the prestige content clock. The SXSW Film & TV Festival started the 2026 awards conversation Friday with the premiere of The Studio, the Seth Rogen satire about the film biz, then kept going with the hotly-anticipated launch of Another Simple Favor, with stars including Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, and Henry Golding on stage for its maiden voyage.
Other SXSW attendees spotted on various stages, red carpets, and portrait studios across Austin, Texas: Ben Affleck was joined by Matt Damon (bearded!) and Jon Bernthal (bald!) for the inaugural screening of The Accountant 2, while Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd ushered in their latest, Death of a Unicorn. Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal and the rest of the The Last of Us gang sat down to talk about the show’s pending second season, while Kevin Bacon submitted to an onstage retrospective of his career.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg at this years SXSW, which runs until March 15. Scroll on to see more of the action on the red carpet and beyond.
