Glastonbury Festival has officially announced its lineup for this year’s event. Leading as headliners, The 1975 set the stage alongside Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX, Alanis Morisette, Doechii, RAYE and more as headliners.
This year’s festival marks the first time Young will be headlining since 2009, and both The 1975 and Rodrigo are making their debut headlining performance at the festival. Rod Stewart, who plays on the Saturday, is Glastonbury’s “legends” slot. Others on the bill include Noah Kahan, Biffy Clyro, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Deftones, Busta Rhymes, Denzel Curry, Wet Leg, Four Tet, John Fogerty, Amyl and the Sniffers, TV on the Radio, Gracie Abrams, Anohni and the Johnsons, Maribou State, Wolf Alice, Fatboy Slim, Turnstile, Beth Gibbons, Ezra Collective, Father John Misty, Japanese Breakfast, Amaarae, Faye Webster, Beabadoobee, Caribou, Scissor Sisters, Weezer, Floating Points, Osees, St. Vincent, Jorja Smith, Overmono, the Libertines, Future Islands, Celeste, Girl in Red, Kae Tempest. Last year’s headliners were SZA, Coldplay and Dua Lipa.
Prior to the official announcement, Young was thought to have pulled out of playing at Glasto but backtracked his statement within the day claiming there was “an error in the information received.” Take a look at the announcement below.
