One of David Hasselhoff’s daughters with ex-wife Pamela Bach Hasselhoff was apparently “hysterical” after discovering her mom’s body following the actress’ suicide.
Pamela was found dead inside her Hollywood Hills, Calif., home Wednesday night after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. She was 62.
Neighbor Hiromi Osiecki told the Daily Mail Thursday that she saw paramedics arrive at the residence around 9 p.m. and heard a young woman — whom she believes was Hayley Hasselhoff, 32 — going in and out of the house “screaming and crying.”
Osiecki said, “She was hysterical, yelling, screaming, crying on the street. She was crying, saying, ‘I just want to get my car.’
“A little later, she came out with police. I heard her crying, and somebody was trying to comfort her,” Osiecki continued.
“Police tried to bring her in the house and close the door, but the door got opened. She was in and out a few times.”
According to Osiecki, who “couldn’t see what was going on in the house,” the young woman came out “crying like crazy.”
Osiecki and her husband, John Osiecki, told the outlet that Hayley lived in the house with Pamela about a decade ago; they recognized her Mercedes in the driveway Wednesday night.
The neighbors claimed that while the mother-daughter duo lived together, paramedics and police would frequently be called to the home, though they did not know why.
Hiromi said she last saw Pamela Monday night taking out the trash and that she “looked sad.”
However, John called her death “shocking” because “she was chatty” and “would talk to a lot of people when she walked her dogs.”
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the “Baywatch” star did not leave a suicide note.
David, 72, and Pamela were married from 1989 to 2006. They shared Hayley and daughter Taylor Hasselhoff, 34.
Pamela’s agent, Sharon Kelly, told Page Six in a heartbreaking statement that she is “in shock and still processing the loss of [her] dear client,” whom she called a “force of nature.”
She shared, “My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter, who Pamela constantly gushed about and loved so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into.”
Kelly asked us to “please convey to the world and to her daughters, Hayley and Taylor, that Pamela was a ‘proud mama’” who “will be truly missed.”
David, for his part, posted on social media, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
