Per Apple TV+, Severance Season 2, Episode 8, is set to premiere Friday, March 7. However, fans of the streaming service likely know the drill by now: New Apple TV+ episodes regularly drop the night before the designated premiere date, which means if you’re extra eager to watch Severance Season 2, Episode 8, keep an eye out on Thursday, March 6.

Based on every episode of Season 2 (and Apple’s typical, albeit perplexing, release schedule), we can confidently say that Severance Season 2, Episode 8 will be available to stream on Apple TV+ starting on Thursday, March 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
What Does “Sweet Vitriol” Mean On Severance?
“Sweet vitriol” references diethyl ether, which is defined as “a sweet-smelling, highly flammable hallucinogenic anaesthetic that could induce euphoria.” Severance fans know that Kier and his wife Imogene worked in an ether factory, and there’s also speculation that you can’t spell “diethyl ether” without DIETER. As “a Lumon loyalist faces old demons,” perhaps we dive deeper into Lumon’s lore and the company/Kier’s relationship with ether.
