Netflix is helping you get lucky this March 2025 with fantastic films and specials that will do everything from hook you with thrilling stories to transport you on an enjoyable journey from the comforts of home. Whether you’re looking for something intense, informative, or entertaining, Netflix has got you covered. Keep reading for the streamer’s best new movies coming in March.

Netflix is releasing two standout original films in the middle and latter half of the month, with Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, and Ke Huy Quan-helmed sci-fi adventure dramedy The Electric State and Sofia Carson-led romantic comedy The Life List, which are both poised to potentially land in the Netflix Top 10.

Additionally, in the first part of the month, Netflix will debut some riveting documentary films covering everything from international pop stars to notorious criminals like Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta and Chaos: The Manson Murders.

Lastly, all throughout Netflix’s March streaming slate, you can broaden your horizons with a diverse array of terrific titles from all over the world, like Indian romantic-drama Nadaaniyan, Finnish thriller comedy Little Siberia, and South Korea mystery crime-drama Revelations.

  1. The Electric State

    Released March 14

    The Electric State is a star-studded Netflix Original sci-fi adventure comedy-drama set in a retro-futuristic version of the American West. There, an orphaned teen will join forces with a sweet robot and an eccentric drifter to find her brother, who has gone missing in the wake of a robot rebellion. Witness the work of Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci, and more in The Electric State as soon as it drops this month, only on Netflix.

    After her mother’s untimely death, Alex Rose (Sofia Carson) embarks on a nostalgic quest to fulfill her childhood bucket list. But in her journey to achieve old aspirations, Alex finds that there are so many new relationships, experiences, and family secrets to be found and uncovered along the way, giving her a whole new perspective on life and love in the process.

  3. Plankton: The Movie

    Released March 7

    Enjoy this latest splash in the wonderful world of SpongeBob with this spin-off animated musical comedy film all about Plankton (Mr. Lawrence). Plankton: The Movie follows Plankton as his latest plans for world domination go awry when his beloved computer wife, Karen (Jill Talley), takes over, with goals of destroying the world on her own. Left with no other option, Plankton must form an unlikely team with his greatest frenemy, SpongeBob (Tom Kenny), in order to stop Karen and save their relationship before it’s all too late.

  4. Chaos: The Manson Murders

    Released March 7

    Chaos: The Manson Murders is a riveting Netflix Original documentary from director Errol Morris that takes a deep dive into the infamous Manson family murders in August 1969. This film looks closer at the situation from multiple angles and delves into topics like mind control, CIA experiments, and murder in an effort to understand why and how cult leader Charles Manson could convince the people around him to kill on command.

  5. Nadaaniyan

    Released March 7

    Enjoy some swoon-worthy romance with this Indian film that follows privileged socialite Pia (Khushi Kapoor) on her quest to save her high social status after a misunderstanding causes Pia’s friends to turn against her. Pia then hires a career-focused middle-class student named Arjun (Ibrahim Ali Khan) to be her perfect fake boyfriend, only for things to grow complicated as real feelings start to get in the way.

  6. Twister: Caught in the Storm

    Released March 19

    For a moving and intense picture of the impact and effects of natural disasters, be sure to watch this Netflix Original documentary. Twister: Caught in the Storm retells the events of May 2011 that saw a large Tornado tear through Joplin, Missouri, wrecking havoc and destruction in its wake. Utilizing firsthand footage and accounts, the film details the catastrophe while also highlighting the resilience and stories of those who survived it.

  7. Delicious

    Released March 7

    Delicious is a drama thriller film about a wealthy German family whose perfect summer at their French countryside villa completely falls apart after an accident brings them into close quarters with a young hotel worker (Carla Díaz). As it comes to light that each family member has their own individual motives and needs towards the stranger, she has hidden intentions of her own that just may irreparably alter all of their lives for the worse.

  8. Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta

    Released March 6

    Brazilian singer, songwriter, and dancer Anitta shares her life, work, and thoughts like never before in this Netflix Original documentary premiering on the platform early in March. Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta takes an intimate and exclusive look at Anitta’s inner world, namely the highs and lows of balancing her pop star alter ego with her born identity as Larissa de Macedo Machado.

  9. Little Siberia

    Released March 21

    Little Siberia is a thriller comedy film out of Finland that centers on a pastor (Eero Ritala) whose faith is completely shaken when a meteor shower suddenly rains down on his small Finnish village. With this unpredictable event comes all sorts of chaos and dark intentions that stir up the pastor’s life and make him question everything he thinks he knows about himself and his beliefs.

  10. Chelsea Handler: The Feeling

    Released March 25

    Comedian Chelsea Handler is serving up a brand new hour of stand-up this month exclusively on Netflix. Recorded in front of a live audience at New Jersey’s Wellmont Theater, Chelsea Handler: The Feeling sees Handler crack jokes and share stories about everything from coming-of-age, ruining Thanksgiving, and the many untimely occurrences and encounters that were motivated by “the feeling.”

  11. Revelations

    Released March 21

    Reveations is a South Korean mystery crime-drama revolving around a pastor (Ryu Jun-yeol) and a detective (Shin Hyun-been) who have similar ideologies but make very different choices as they both pursue the same missing person case. During the course of their investigations, both will take action according to their own respective intense visions, belief systems, and personal demons, with lasting consequences.
