Who is hosting the 2025 Oscars?
Conan O’Brien is hosting the Oscars for the first time this year, a gig he told ABC News he never even dreamed of getting.
“I dreamed of, like, being a seat filler at the Oscars. I never thought, ‘Oh, I’ll host the Oscars,’” he quipped. I always kept my dreams very attainable.”
The comedian, who cites Bob Hope, Johnny Carson, Steve Martin and Billy Crystal as major inspirations, said viewers should be prepared for his “triple threat” talent come showtime.
“I can sing, I can dance, I can do close up magic,” he added. “I’m a contortionist. You don’t know what I’m going to do. Anything can happen at any time.”
What’s nominated at the 2025 Oscars?
While Netflix’s “Emilia Pérez” has the most nominations going into the night — 13, to be exact — “Wicked” and “The Brutalist” follow closely behind with 10 nods each. (If you’re still catching up on watching all the top nominees, we’ve got a guide for that, too.)
In addition to the highly-anticipated awards, the show will also include performances from Doja Cat, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Lisa of Blackpink, Queen Latifah and Raye.
