Mike Myers, one of the most famous Canadians in Hollywood, made it clear where he stands on President Donald Trump’s idea to make Canada the U.S.’ 51st state.

Per Saturday Night Live tradition, Myers, who made a surprise appearance in tonight’s Cold Open about the Trump-Zelensky showdown as Elon Musk, also appeared during the episode’s curtain call at the end.

Standing next to the episode’s host, comedian Shane Gillis, Myers opened his vest to reveal his T-shirt, which had “Canada is not for sale” emblazoned alongside a large Canadian flag.

This is not the first time SNL guests have made political statements during the show’s curtain call. Most recently, Michael Keaton and Billie Eilish both donned TV-shirts emblazoned with the word Vote last October.

This marks two SNL shows in a row for former cast member Myers who also appeared during the SNL50 anniversary special two weeks ago, reprising his classic Linda Richman character. Fellow SNL alum and Canadian Martin Short crashed the special’s opening monologue by his longtime friend Steve Martin who, referencing the recent tension between the U.S. and Canada, called on ICE to arrest him.

As Short was being taken away, he was heard pleading with the officers, “No, no, I’ll cooperate, don’t take me, Ill name names: Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, Catherine O’Hara,” listing some high-profile Canadian actors.
