March 2025 Tarotscopes: Tarot Horoscopes for Every Zodiac Sign

March will be a pivotal month, as it’s where our astrological New Year begins! We start things off with Venus (the planet of love, sex, beauty, money, and desire) starting her retrograde period in Aries on March 1. This transit asks us to think before reacting, especially when it comes to our urges. Just a couple of days later, on the 3rd, Mercury (the planet of technology, communication, and travel) shifts into Aries. This should give us a chance to connect our thoughts and words in a more bold and confident way—you might find yourself thinking with more independence and freedom during this time.

On March 14, we have our first eclipse of the year, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo. This lunation starts a new string of eclipses on the Virgo-Pisces axis, which helps us to understand where we are foregoing our dreams in order to maintain our martyrdom. For example: Are you able to shed some light on where you think you’re being “nice” but in reality are stuck in a cycle of people-pleasing?

The very next day, March 15, Mercury retrograde begins in the sign of Aries. This may throw our daily commutes, communication, and communal activities for a loop. Stay focused on who you are trying to become, rather than who you’ve historically been, during this three-week transit.

As noted, on March 20th our astrological New Year begins as we welcome both the start of Aries Season and Spring Equinox on this marvelous, refreshing day. Try to spend time outdoors, connecting with people and hobbies that light you up, and anything you want to bring with you into this new chapter. On the 27th, we have our Venus retrograde shifting back into watery Pisces. This should bring greater focus onto the type of romance you want—and deserve. Our month ends with the Mercury retrograde transit shifting into Pisces on the 29th, potentially melding our emotions and thoughts in an uncomfortably interconnected way. The next day, we have Neptune (the planet of illusions, dreams, and spirituality) entering Aries and ushering us out of March with a newfound approach to the unseen aspects of our lives.
