Whether it’s the use of organic material blends or rich color palettes, Loro Piana has constantly looked to the natural world for design inspiration. This season, the Italian Maison turns its attention to horse riding, building a complete ready-to-wear collection that draws on the classic equestrian uniform.

At the heart of the Fall/Winter 2025-26 range features a series of staple outdoor outfits comprised of hunting jackets, parkas, and quilted liners. Slightly refined to fit contemporary wardrobes, their original tight-fit, riding-ready silhouettes are reconstructed to a more relaxed, boxier shape, accentuated with the pairing of beige jodhpurs or tapered merino wool bottoms, and not forgetting the signature knee-high boots.

Translating these aesthetic codes into versatile everyday wear, Loro Piana crafts plush bomber jackets, high-neck blazers, and long-line coats from soft-touch materials such as wool-blend cheviot and suede. As well as giving texture to the largely brown-toned collection, the House’s staple luxury fabric choices allow for easy layering alongside cardigans and knit polo tops.

With the Maison’s reimagination of equestrian-related attire also comes new tailoring that can be enjoyed from the stands on race day. For the first time, its iconic Spagna jacket is reworked into a cape which arrives in two colorways and matches perfectly with its array of wide-brimmed hats, while three-piece suits and satin jackets provide a sleek addition for the season’s black-tie occasions.

For the reveal of the collection, Loro Piana opens the doors to its headquarters during Milan Fashion Week to host a special presentation with spaces designed to reflect the material journey of its garment creation. Further to this, its Kiosk fixture returns to Via dei Giardini from February 28 to March 1 in the style of an old post office where it will give out postcards printed with the Maison’s ’90s advertising campaigns.

Be sure to check out the full FW25-26 lookbook in the gallery above.
