Apple is still months away from launching the iPhone 17 series, but early leaks suggest a major design shift — one that closely mirrors Google’s Pixel lineup. Leaker Majin Bu recently shared CAD renders of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the rumored iPhone 17 Air, revealing a striking new camera design.
According to the renders, the Pro and Air models will feature a wider, pill-shaped camera bar that spans the upper portion of the device, replacing Apple’s signature square camera module. The iPhone 17 Air appears to follow the same design language but with a single rear camera lens, while the standard iPhone 17 retains the familiar look of previous generations.

Rumors of an iPhone 17 Air have been circulating for months, hinting at a slimmer model intended to replace the Plus variant. Reports suggest it could feature a titanium frame, distinguishing it from the Pro models, which are expected to transition back to aluminum. Apple first introduced titanium in the iPhone 15 Pro lineup, but supply chain analyst Jeff Pu speculates that environmental concerns may be driving the company to reconsider aluminum for the iPhone 17 Pro models.
