Khloé Kardashian admits she gets nervous when attending ex Tristan Thompson’s NBA games.
During Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” the reality TV star reflected on the time she took their daughter, True, and son, Tatum, to see Thompson play for the Cleveland Cavaliers in May 2024.
“I did have a lot of anxiety about going more for, like, the public’s reaction, which is so lame to say, because I knew I was gonna get filmed,” she said during a confessional.
The Good American founder, 40, explained that even though her family and inner circle knows that she and Thompson are not romantically involved, she knew outsiders would still speculate on their relationship.
“It’s sad that I had a lot of anxiety because of outside noise,” she shared. “I just didn’t want to hear it anymore. Like, ‘Oh, she’s going to support her man.’”
However, Kardashian ultimately decided that her kids’ happiness was more important than feeling anxious.
“I also was like, ‘F–k this, I’m doing this for my kids, I’m doing this for my cousin,’ and I’m so happy we all did. We all had the best time,” she said.
Kardashian –– who also brought cousin Cici Bussey and sister Kim Kardashian’s son Saint West to the May 2024 game –– further explained that she wanted to bring her kids because she’s not sure how much longer Thompson will play in the NBA.
“It was such a great experience for my kids,” she explained in a conversation with Scott Disick. “True is 6. She’s old enough, she gets it. She is so proud, and she was so excited to see her dad play and just be in that atmosphere.”
Kardashian initially made headlines when she took her kids to see the Cavaliers face-off against the Boston Celtics during the NBA playoffs last year.
The former “Revenge Body” host was seen briefly greeting Thompson before cheering him on from her courtside seats.
Kardashian and Thompson dated on and off from 2016 to 2021. However, the two split for good after Kardashian discovered Thompson had got another woman pregnant — while they were expecting Tatum via surrogate.
The former coupe faced a myriad of cheating allegations during their five-year relationship –– including when Thompson was caught kissing Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods in 2019.
However, they were able to reconcile after their 2021 split and have maintained a platonic co-parenting relationship ever since.
New episodes of “The Kardashians” drop Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
