Mercedes-Benz has announced its most ambitious product and technology launch campaign to date, unveiling plans for dozens of new or refreshed models by 2027. Among the highlights are the introduction of a smaller G-Class, an all-new CLA Concept and a next-generation V8 engine, signaling the brand’s commitment to both electrification and high-performance internal combustion engines.

Expanding the legendary G-Class lineup, Mercedes-Benz is developing a smaller, more accessible version of the rugged SUV. The nicknamed “Baby G” is expected to retain the off-road DNA of its larger counterpart while offering a more compact and efficient package, catering to a broader customer base.

Kicking off the company’s aggressive rollout is the all-new CLA, which will be offered in both electric and high-tech ICE variants. The EV version benefits from advanced battery technology inspired by the VISION EQXX, boasting best-in-class range, efficiency and charging capabilities. Meanwhile, the combustion model will feature a 48-volt hybrid system with an electrified dual-clutch transmission.

Mercedes-AMG is also revamping its performance lineup, including the development of a new high-tech, electrified V8. Designed to push boundaries in both power and efficiency, this engine will complement AMG’s growing portfolio of high-performance electric models based on the dedicated AMG.EA platform.

Alongside these major product updates, Mercedes-Benz has announced plans to refine its design language, rolling out its proprietary MB.OS software for enhanced connectivity and automation, as well as ramping up efficiency measures to maintain profitability amid the transition to electrification.
