Baseball fans, get ready for an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at one of MLB’s most storied franchises. Netflix has officially announced the launch of The Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox, marking the streaming giant’s first-ever docuseries to chronicle an entire Major League Baseball season.
Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Greg Whiteley, The Clubhouse provides exclusive access to the Boston Red Sox’s 2024 season, offering an intimate look at the players’ struggles, triumphs and lives both on and off the field.
The eight-part series follows key Red Sox players, including first baseman Triston Casas and pitcher Bryan Bello. A recently released teaser gives fans a glimpse into the clubhouse, featuring Casas as he steps up to the plate and reflects on the mental challenges of the game.
The Clubhouse comes just months after Netflix’s The Comeback, which revisited the Red Sox’s historic 2004 World Series victory. While The Comeback celebrated a legendary past, The Clubhouse presents an unfiltered look at the present-day realities of professional baseball.
