Fried chicken spot Popeyes UK has just launched its new Saucin’ range. Available nationwide, the latest addition to its menu comes packed with flavor and dripping with, well, sauce.
Having made a splash with its Louisiana-inspired Cajun gravy and traditional biscuits, Popeyes taps its New Orleans roots yet again to deliver the coated chicken in three iconic flavors: Buffalo; Bold BBQ; and Garlic Parm. The first two – spicy Buffalo and best-selling smoky Bold BBQ – will be recognizable to fans with their current availability as popular side dips. However, the new Garlic Parm arrives as a brand new flavor, bringing an American twist on a classic Italian combo with hints of garlic, black pepper notes and citrus in a savory cheese sauce.
Catering to every fried chicken lover, two varieties come covered in the sauces including the Shatter Crunchin’ Hot Wings with Popeyes’ iconic Shatter Crunch coating, as well as the newly introduced Boneless Pieces made from 100% fresh chicken breast. Both options come in box sizes of six, eight, and a larger portion of twelve.
In an official statement, Popeyes UK’s Head of Food shared, “At Popeyes, we’re always experimenting with new ways to enjoy our Shatter Crunchin’ fried chicken, so we’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new Saucin’ range. We know our fans love our huge range of dips – and went mad for our trial of Saucin’ Wings last year – so combining the two and giving them a permanent home on our menu was a no-brainer.”
Speaking on the creation of Garlic Parm, he goes on to say, “Creating new flavor offerings is our specialty, which is why we’ve also introduced the Americana-style Garlic Parm sauce for the first time ever – perfect for those looking to add a punch of bold, New Orleans flavor to their Shatter Crunchin’ chicken.”
