The candy cloud machine is among the last cooking stations you’ll unlock in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, and it allows you to make cotton candy clouds for your besties to much on.
While no characters have candy clouds as their “favorite” items to be gifted, some of the items, like the Toasted Marshmallow Cloud, are still high-value items you can give to characters like Wish Me Mell to rank up their friendship quickly. To use the candy cloud machine, you’ll need to use the candy clouds you get from Cinnamoroll.
Below, we explain how to unlock the candy cloud station, how to upgrade the candy cloud station, and all candy cloud recipes available in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
How to unlock the candy cloud machine
The candy cloud machine is a later-game station, as you’ll need to finish a ton of quests before hand to unlock Cloud Island. The quests are as follows:
- “A Challenging Rescue,” which requires you to complete all of the crystal-gathering and star fragment-collecting quests in each area, as well as have at least three Stamina Apples
- “Baker’s Assistant,” which requires you to hit friendship rank 17 with Hello Kitty
- “Stargazing,” which requires the above quests to be completed
- “Icy Recovery,” which requires you to hit friendship rank one with Lala
Once you do these and you’re on Cloud Island, you’ll just need to reach friendship level two with Lala to unlock the quest “Sweets in the Stars” and then the machine. Once it’s unlocked, it’ll be here:
After hitting friendship level 13 with Lala, you’ll be able to craft a working candy cloud machine that you can place in visitor cabins.
How to upgrade the candy cloud machine
You’ll need to hit friendship level 5 with Kiki in order to upgrade the candy cloud machine. Once you do this, you can add a second ingredient to the machine.
Kiki should rank up pretty fast if you give him Starry Skies Shakes, which are made of Starfruit found around Cloud Island.
You can also expedite this process by using items like Friendship Bouquets and Friendship Blossoms to gift Kiki more without having to wait until the next day (or time travel).
All candy cloud machine recipes
Below, we list all of the permanent candy cloud recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Note that there is a limited-time recipe, the “50th Anniversary Cloud” — but it’s not counted as part of the collections page and you can’t make it consistently, as it uses a limited-time material, so we don’t have it on our list.
There are also multiple recipes for the same cloud, but they are registered individually in your collections. For example, using apple or banana will both give you a Fruity Cloud, but it will register as “Fruity Cloud Recipe (Apple)” and “Fruity Cloud Recipe (Banana)” in your collections, so you may want to make all of these to collect all the recipes fully.
