Sharge, a wireless charging supplier, has raised $1.53 million for the Kickstarter launch of its Loomos AI Glasses in just a five days.
The Loomos AI glasses feature a 450mAh battery, giving it market-leading battery life of 40 hours on standby. It also will have a Sony 16MP camera for 4K photos (4656 x 3496), immersive open-ear audio with dual DSP amplifiers and 5.1 virtual surround sound for ultra-clear, theater-grade performance.
The device is expected to sell for $300, but there’s a discount for the first couple of thousand supporters on Kickstarter. The company said the device will stay effortlessly connected with instant and voice-activated assistance powered by ChatGPT-4o.
Users will be able to just say, “Hey Loomos” and it will answer. Powered by multi-modal ChatGPT-4o and Unisoc 4-core 2.0GHz AI processor, Loomos will be your personal AI memory hub, creative partner, and life advisor. It works independently as long as you are with Wi-Fi. The company said And yes Loomos will be a fact-checker. Just ask, “Hey Loomos, is the company ‘Loomos’ legit?” and let the AI confirm. The company said all your data will be yours.
An indicator LED will light up whenever you’re recording so that others know you’re capturing. For no-photo areas or extra peace of mind, users can simply snap on the included magnetic top frame cover to block the camera.
