The fifth and final game of the 2024-25 Rivalry Series will take place on Saturday at the Credit Union Place in Summerside on Prince Edward Island.
Entering this game, the United States has won twice and Canada has won twice, making this the deciding game in the five-game series between the two women’s hockey rivals.

The most recent matchup was on Thursday night at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, with the United States winning 2-1 in a shootout.
Hilary Knight opened the scoring for the United States, scoring off a Britta Curl assist during a first-period power play. Neither team managed to score in the second period, but Canada struck in the third, with Blayre Turnbull scoring off an assist from Renata Fast and Sarah Fillier.
The game then went to overtime, where neither team scored a goal, leading to the shootout to end things. The United States made three of its four shots in the shootout while Canada failed to score on any of its three attempts.
The United States victory got the team back in the win column in the Rivalry Series. After a 7-2 win on Nov. 6 to open the series, Canada won the next two meetings.
