Jenna Bush Hager admitted to making a major mistake one of the first times she took her kids to Disney.
On Today With Jenna & Friends, Bush Hager and Grammy-winning singer Ciara were bonding over their love for the amusement park when Bush Hager revealed she took her daughter, who was four at the time, on the Tower of Terror.
“It was Mila and Poppy, Poppy must have been four years old,” she explained to Ciara. “I just Googled best rides in Disney, I didn’t look to see what level they were. Tower of Terror was there. I’m like, ‘Let’s go! Tower of Terror, come on, kids!’”
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an elevator-themed ride that drops passengers from almost 13 stories up.
As Bush Hager recounted, “We sit down in the Tower of Terror. I’m like, ‘You guys, is this ride scary?’ The people in front of us were like, ‘This ride is the scariest ride in Disney.”
“I look over at little Poppy and she was like— she turned completely white,” Bush Hager said.
Ciara laughed as Bush Hager announced in disbelief, “I took my four year old on the Tower of Terror!”
“But, listen, that queen ain’t scared of anything,” she then added.
Ciara could not believe Bush Hager’s story. “Oh my gosh,” she repeated several times as Bush Hager recounted the hilarious experience. “Well, listen, she was built for anything else after that.”
The “Level Up” singer is the latest celebrity guest host to visit Today With Jenna & Friends. Next up, Saturday Night Live cast member Ego Nwodim will be guest hosting the entire week of Feb. 3.
Today with Jenna & Friends airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
