At the time, the former Daily Beast writer admitted to having a personal relationship with the former presidential candidate after learning he had allegedly bragged about the “intimate” images she sent him.

In January 2025, Caroline strongly urged senators to reject her cousin RFK Jr. as President Trump’s nominee for Health and Human Services Secretary.
“He lacks any relevant government, financial, management or medical experience. His views on vaccines are dangerous and willfully misinformed,” Caroline, the only surviving child of JFK and Jacqueline Kennedy, read in her letter to members of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
“These facts alone should be disqualifying, but he has personal qualities related to this job, which for me pose even greater concern,” she added.
“It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets, because Bobby himself is a predator. He’s always been charismatic, able to attract others through the strength of his personality, his willingness to take risks and break the rules.”
