In case you needed any more evidence that the boho trend is alive and thriving, check out what Zoë Kravitz wore to the Saint Laurent Homme show during Paris Fashion Week.
On January 28, the actor and newly minted director wore an asymmetrical minidress that screamed Y2K-era bohemian. The light brown dress features ruffles at the sleeves, hem, and wide neckline, which Kravitz wore off-the-shoulder on one side. She styled the peasant-inspired frock with an oversized brown leather belt and sheer black tights, then veered into an entirely different direction with high-heeled, rainbow sandals. And yet, it all works.
Because no ensemble, no matter how boho, is complete without a little sparkle, Kravitz added dangly earrings and a ring, but let her hair, styled in a low messy bun, fall artfully in her face.
Among the many trends from the early aughts that have made their way back into the zeitgeist, none had as big of a comeback as the boho aesthetic, characterized by flowy, peasant-like silhouettes, layered jewelry, and chunky platform shoes. Bella Hadid is one celeb who’s really embraced the boho revival, favoring a furry brown “Penny Lane” coat, for instance. Sienna Miller brought boho to the Venice Film Festival in September 2024, with a sheer floral skirt and over-the-knee boots. And back in March, Anne Hathaway wore a boho-inspired metallic minidress that would have also looked at home at Coachella, the mothership of all boho style. Dakota Johnson, in particular, is almost always a good rubric for perfect boho styling. See: Her brown slip dress with chunky pendant necklace.
But of course Zoë Kravitz is keeping her post-breakup looks chic. Kravitz and Channing Tatum ended their engagement in the fall of 2024, confirmed after Kravitz was photographed out and about without her diamond engagement ring. Since then, Kravitz has been seen in her usual impeccable style, including several pieces from every It Girl’s favorite brand, The Row.
