UK-based Live Base is celebrating 20 years of being at the forefront of hip-hop. A lifestyle brand specializing in managing top-tier artists, bridging music, fashion, art and design, Live Base has unveiled a special 20th anniversary capsule in collaboration with some of the most renowned creatives from Japan, USA and Germany. The exclusive friends and family collection is designed alongside VERDY, NEEDLES and 786.
Since Live Base first began its journey in 2004, CEO and founder Amer Nawaz knew that this was his calling. Growing up a fan of the hip-hop genre, Live Base has collaborated with some of the most influential artists of this generation, including the likes of Drake, Ye, Bruno Mars, Travis Scott and Burna Boy. In a statement, Amer said, “I knew at this moment this is my calling. Hip-hop inspired me. And I truly believed the possibilities are endless from here.” Now, two decades after starting hte brand, Live Base drops a special collection which consists of a t-shirt collaboration with VERDY. In VERDY’s signature artistry, he designs a tee that features 20 stars to represent Live Base alongside a drawing of Vick. VERDY said, “When I work with Amer, we’re always supporting each other.”
Alongside the VERDY t-shirt, Japanese label NEEDLES has reinterpreted the label for its signature tracksuit to match a custom 786 cap. Rounding out the collection is a one-of-a-kind custom pair of Cartier eyewear co-produced with Joel Brück from City Optikhaus, in Berlin.
