Fashion curator Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi has unveiled a new collaboration with Porsche, blending timeless automotive design with classic fashion influences. The partnership celebrates Poggy’s vision of merging traditional style with the iconic Porsche 911 Carrera T (Type 992), a dream car he custom-designed through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
The apparel collection, inspired by the elegance of British racer Jackie Stewart and the sophistication of Princess Diana, features a mix of tartan patterns, tailored pieces and casual elements like V-neck sweaters and denim jackets. “This traditional style, which is a little less dressy like Jackie Stewart’s, pairs seamlessly with the 911,” Poggy remarked. He also highlighted Diana’s relaxed yet balanced approach to fashion as a key influence.
Poggy’s custom Porsche 911 Carrera T showcases sepia brown paint — a nod to the 1970s, the decade of his birth — and features unique illustrations that tie into his apparel designs. The collaboration emphasizes everyday elegance, as Poggy imagines scenarios like filling up at a gas station in workwear or reading manga while parked in a Porsche. “Driving a Porsche casually, without overthinking, is my ideal style,” he shared.
The collection and Poggy’s car will be exhibited at SELECT by BAYCREW’S Toranomon Hills Station Tower in Tokyo, alongside the limited-edition apparel line created with BAYCREW’S. Prices for items in the collection range from ¥13,200 to ¥60,500 JPY ($84 to $387 USD).
