This year marks MB&F’s 20th anniversary, in addition to celebrating its milestone and kicking off the new year, the Brand has revealed limited-edition watches: the Legacy Machine (LM) Perpetual Longhorn and the LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn. Both models arrive in a 44mm stainless steel case that houses its intricate movement and openworked dials, paired with beige calf leather straps.
The LM Perpetual Longhorn features MB&F’s award-winning perpetual calendar movement, created in collaboration with watchmaker Stephen McDonnell. The 581-component movement avoids the common issues of traditional perpetual calendars through a mechanical processor that deactivates adjuster pushers during calendar changes. This anniversary edition presents this innovative movement in a fresh aesthetic with longhorn lugs.
Also conceived by McDonnell, the LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn builds upon the LM Sequential EVO series released in 2022 — which introduced the “Twinverter” binary switch that allowed independent timing, split-second, cumulative and lap-timer modes. The Flyback version adds a function for pilots, further enhancing its capabilities. Now, with the addition of long horns, blued hands and glossy black subdials, this limited edition joins the celebration of MB&F’s anniversary.
Each model comes in a limited run of 20 examples and are priced at 168,000 CHF (approx. $184,116 USD). For more details regarding the availability of the LM Perpetual Longhorn and LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn, check out MB&F’s official website.
