After nearly 30 years at NBC, Hoda Kotb will host her last Today Show and Today with Hoda and Jenna episodes today.
The anchor announced her decision to retire back in September, and while Kotb will stay in the NBC family in an “unspecified role,” per TODAY.com, she’s stepping away from day-to-day hosting duties.
Kotb is a mainstay of Today‘s fourth hour; for eleven years, she co-anchored it with Kathie Lee Gifford as Today with Kathie Lee and Hoda, and following Gifford’s departure, Jenna Bush Hager joined Kotb for Today with Hoda and Jenna. For more than five years, Kotb also served as a co-anchor on Today‘s first two hours with Savannah Guthrie.
All week, Today has been celebrating Kotb with a “Hoda-bration” that’s included messages from stars like Blake Shelton, appearances from Sesame Street, and more. Today, the “Hoda-bration” culminates in a live episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna filmed in front of a studio audience at 30 Rock.

Hoda Kotb’s last episode of Today and Today with Hoda and Jenna is, well, today: January 10. The two-hour Today send-off begins at 7:00 a.m. ET, while the Hoda-bration continues at 10:00 a.m. ET on Hoda and Jenna.

Today Hoda and Jenna will transition into Today with Jenna and Friends as a search for a permanent co-host continues. For the time being, Bush Hager will welcome rotating guest hosts. Next week, Keke Palmer, Eva Longoria, and Taraji P. Henson will all join Bush Hager, while Scarlett Johansson will co-host with Bush Hager from January 21-24.
