Netflix has dropped a new teaser trailer for Sakamoto Days, revealing the anime’s official English voice cast.
Set to premiere on the streaming platform on January 11, Sakamoto Days is based on Yuto Suzuki’s bestselling shonen manga, which is currently one of the most popular titles on Weekly Shonen Jump. With the new trailer, it’s confirmed that the English dub will be simultaneously released alongside the original Japanese dub.
Known for his English dub version of Leon in Resident Evil 6, Matthew Mercer lends his iconic voice to the main protagonist Taro Sakamoto in the highly anticipated adaptation. The English voice cast features a myriad of talented actors, including Dallas Liu as Shin Asakura, Rosalie Chiang as Lu Shaotang, Rosie Okumura as Aoi Sakamoto and Xolo Maridueña portraying Heisuke Mashimo.
Additional cast members include Aleks Le voicing Nagumo, WWE superstar Lexi Cabrera as Obiguro, SungWon Cho as Boiled, Du-Shaunt “Fik-Shun” Stegall as Son Hee and Toru Uchikado as Bacho.
The series promises to deliver thrilling episodes filled with action and adventure, all brought to life by TMS Entertainment — the studio behind Dr. Stone and Baki Hanma.
