After 16 years of marriage, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are reportedly filing for divorce, according to TMZ.
Per People, the couple is already separated, but the good news is that it doesn’t look like a contentious split. An anonymous source told the outlet, “No matter what’s going on right now, it seems they will remain close. If they’re filing for divorce, it’s not because of some hateful drama. They still look happy together.” But, the insider added, “Jess has mentioned over the years though that it’s hard to keep the spark.”

Alba and Warren first met in 2004, and were married in 2008. They now share three children, Honor, Haven, and Hayes.
The split comes as a particular surprise, because if there was any distance between Alba and Warren, it wasn’t apparent on any of Alba’s socials. As recently as November, Alba was posting sweet pictures with her husband to Instagram. Just a few days ago, she posted photos of the whole family at Universal Studios to celebrate their youngest child, Hayes’s, 7th birthday.

And to celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary in May, she captioned a photo of the couple, “I’m proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family. Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another. Cheers to us, I love you.”
In July of 2021, Jessica Alba said in an interview with Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt that maintaining her relationship with her husband amidst careers and kids can be hard. “I think that he probably gets the short end of the stick. And it’s not even him, I would say it’s us,” she said. “When I’m seeing him and spending time with him and we’re really enjoying each other, it’s an ‘us’ thing and it feeds me as well. It’s hard. It’s impossible.”
