Allison Holker learned about late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ dark secrets after his December 2022 death.

During a new interview with People, the “So You Think You Can Dance” alum revealed she found a “cornucopia” of drugs — including mushrooms, pills and “other substances” she had to “look up” on her phone — hidden inside Boss’ shoeboxes after his passing.

“I was with one of my really dear friends, and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,” Holker, 36, recalled to the outlet.

“It was a really triggering moment for me because there were a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I did not know existed. It was very alarming to me to learn that there was so much happening that I had no clue [about].”

Holker admitted that “it was a really scary moment” in her life to “figure that out,” but said it also helped her “process” what Boss was going through.

“He was hiding so much, and there must have been a lot of shame in that,” she said.

The mom of three, who had been married to the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” DJ for nine years, said she and Boss had “very honest” communication. Although she was in the dark about some things, she did know about his marijuana use.

Holker said her husband would go to their guesthouse when their kids were sleeping to smoke and drink.

“That was his alone time. It was his time to recharge, and that was OK,” she told People.

The “High School Musical” dancer also claimed that Boss alluded to being sexually abused by a male figure during his childhood in several of his journal entries.

“He was wrestling with a lot inside himself, and he was trying to self-medicate and cope with all those feelings because he didn’t want to put it on anyone because he loved everyone so much,” she shared.

“He didn’t want other people to take on his pain.”

Holker said she is coming forward with the late dancer’s secrets in hopes that her story can save another life.

“It’s hard to think that he never opened up to someone and wanted to face it, to get through on the other side,” she said.

“I really hope people dealing with the same thing will help themselves out of the shadows and [know] you’re going to be OK.”

Boss died by suicide on Dec. 13, 2022. He was 40.

The “Step Up 3D” star took his life via a gunshot wound to the head inside a motel room close to his family’s home.

The following month, Boss’ family held a private funeral for him in Los Angeles.

In September 2024, Holker went public with her new romance with CEO Adam Edmunds at Alice + Olivia’s Spring 2025 collection show at New York Fashion Week.

The “Footloose” dancer and Boss shared three kids: Weslie, 16 (whom Boss adopted), Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 5.
