It seems Shania Twain’s New Year’s Eve performance didn’t impress Anderson Cooper much.

During a Q&A interview with the New York Times published on Wednesday, Cooper’s co-host on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live,” Andy Cohen, called him out for being on his phone during the country singer’s mini concert on Tuesday night.

The critique came after the duo was asked about their New Year’s resolutions.

After the Bravo star told the outlet, “Mine is the same as it always is, which is to spend less time on my phone,” Cooper joked, “That would be good. That’s my resolution for Andy as well.”

Cohen then cheekily quipped: “Well, sweetie, you were on your phone last night while Shania Twain was killing it performing ‘Man, I Feel Like a Woman.’”

This year’s annual show featured several appearances from celebrities including Ralph Fiennes and Diplo, who shockingly revealed he was tripping on acid during his interview.

Days before the big ball-dropping event, Cohen revealed what he thinks is the “most annoying” part of hosting the annual show, telling People that it has to do with Cooper’s “giggles.”

“Well, [it’s] that I have to be the straight guy,” Cohen shared.

“Literally, he’s in a puddle of giggles for the last 90 minutes of the broadcast, and I’m the one that’s hitting all the commercial breaks.”

“I kind of turn into Mr. CNN for the last 90 minutes, and he turns into Mr. Bravo,” he added.

Cooper also revealed his own pet peeve about hosting the special with his longtime friend during his Dec. 16 appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

“Just who he’s gonna insult and what the clean up on aisle 3 is gonna be in the morning,” the journalist said.
