Apollo Instruments, a newcomer to the world of space-themed watches, has unveiled the DSKY Moonwatch — its grand project of four years that embodies the spirit of space exploration as well as the essence of adventure.
Featuring a design that instantly evokes nostalgia, the timepiece pays homage to astronauts while also honoring the works of aerospace engineers. An accurate recreation of the original Apollo guidance computer interface used aboard the Apollo spacecraft, this interactive piece places the wearer alongside the astronauts, providing an authentic experience of the iconic device.
It also faithfully reproduced several operational routines, presenting them in their original display formats, while also incorporating custom operations that leverage the advanced capabilities of the Apollo Instruments DSKY— allowing users to engage with the same technology that guided the historic moon missions. Additionally, the watch’s functionality is continually enhanced through regular software updates.
Its wide range of functions includes quintessential features like time and date display, configurable time zones with automatic DST, a stopwatch, timer and alarm functions. It’s also equipped with GPS navigation as well as original operations such as the GPS-driven P66 landing routine, V35 lights and display test, power down and standby routines.
Available on order with a deposit of £240 (approx. $300 USD), the DSKY Moonwatch is priced at £649 GBP (approx. $814 USD) and is currently available via Apollo Instruments’s website.
