The Dallas Cowboys have been getting hit hard on the defensive side of the ball in 2024. After losing Sam Williams before the season began, injuries to DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons left the team’s pass rush severely lacking. Star cornerback Trevon Diggs is also out for the rest of the season and could miss up to eight months
To make matters worse, rising star linebacker DeMarvion Overshown suffered a severe knee injury and had to be carted off the field. It was later revealed that Overshown tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL.
Despite the grim diagnosis, Overshown underwent successful surgery and received huge news regarding his return timeline.

Overshown was initially believed to miss the rest of the 2024 season, along with the entire 2025 season due to the severity of the knee injury. However, it appears that he will not have to miss next year, as he has been given a more optimistic timeline return of mid-to-late next season.
