Anyone mourning the end of Yellowstone will at least have 1923 to keep them steeped in Dutton lore: The official trailer for the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s prequel dropped during the finale and teases the start of the war over the family’s land.
In the new season that will premiere Sunday, February 23, Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) embarks on his arduous journey home to Montana while his lady love Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) sets off on her own trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love. Meanwhile, Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford) warns about how the family’s way of life is under attack while his wife Cara (Helen Mirren) readies her rifle for the fight.
In addition to Mirren, Ford, Sklenar and Schlaepfer, 1923 stars Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph, Sebastian Roché, Timothy Dalton and Jennifer Carpenter.
