A teen straphanger was slashed in a clash with a stranger who bumped into him during Thursday’s evening rush in Queens, cops and sources said.
The 19-year-old victim was on a northbound J train passing through the 75th Street–Elderts Lane station in Woodhaven just before 6 p.m. when another rider bumped into him, authorities and sources said.
The pair exchanged words before the assailant waved around a knife and cut the teen on his arm, sources said.
The alleged attacker then got off the train and ran out to the street.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, a yellow jacket, black sneakers, a gray beanie hat and a green backpack.
