After Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin took their seats next to their guest co-hosts, the former explained why things seemed a little off this morning.
“If youâre wondering whatâs going on, thereâs nothing wrong with your television set. Joy is not here, Sara is not here, and Alyssa is not here today,” she explained. “So, returning to the table â because thatâs the kind of gal she is â is our former co-host Abby Huntsman. So, welcome back.”
Huntsman said she “got the call yesterday,” noting that executive producer Brian Teta told her they were “in a pinch.” Similarly, Lindsay explained that she “dropped everything” to fly from Los Angeles to New York City when she was asked to appear on today’s episode.
