Black Friday has come early this year, with Amazon kicking off its official “Black Friday Week” on Thursday, Nov. 21. (Heads up for our US readers: that also means Thanksgiving is now officially less than a week away.) We’ve already rounded up the best early Black Friday deals, but this post focuses strictly on Magic: The Gathering deals, of which there are some good ones — especially around Murders at Karlov Manor, the murder mystery-themed set that launched earlier this year, and Outlaws of Thunder Junction, Magic’s first western set.
For newcomers, there’s no better time to pick up a starter bundle or pre-made Commander decks to immerse yourselves in one (or more!) of Magic’s many worlds. For more veteran players, or for players who are hosting a night of Magic games, the booster boxes offer a chance to pick up packs of sets that you can open en masse and increase your odds of getting some of the rarer sets — or just throw your own booster draft tournaments. If you’re looking for booster boxes specifically, you might want to act fast, as historically those have sold out quicker than other Magic items. We’ll keep updating this piece regularly this holiday shopping month, so be sure to check back if you’re looking for something in particular.
