As an NCAA gymnast at LSU, Olivia Dunne has redefined what it means to be a college athlete. As an influencer, she has 13 million followers across platforms. But one thing she’s looking forward to? Fully entering her WAG era.
“I don’t really feel like I’ve experienced the full WAG effect yet because I’m still in college and I don’t live with Paul, but I’m excited for what’s to come,” she says.
Dunne—also known as Livvy—is in her senior year, is currently the highest paid female college athlete in the country, according to Sports Illustrated. She started posting on social media as a 10-year-old elite gymnast, and when she started competing at LSU, her following exploded. NCAA rules enacted in 2021 allowing college athletes to accept sponsorships and endorsements just so happened to coincide with Dunne’s rise, and she’s reportedly making seven figures in 2024.

Olivia Dunne met Skenes at LSU, and the pair have been dating long distance since Skenes started playing for the Pirates in May. She hasn’t been able to make it out to many games, but has been excited to see how much the baseball community has embraced her both online and in real life.
“My social media has changed a bit because my audience that follows me also loves Paul,” she says. “I have a lot of people come up to me in person and people tell me how much they love Paul, and I’m like, me too! I feel like people just like to cheer him on with me and my social media has definitely grown. The MLB is a really big community and it’s been fun.”
Dunne also says she’s had a warm welcome from the Pirates community.
“Everyone’s so engaged with the athletics there and it’s been fun to hear people say how much the Pirates games have grown,” she said, adding she’s been told she’s drawn bigger crowds to the games.
She’s focusing on her final competition season of her own, but is excited to be able to fully embrace her life as a baseball girlfriend.
“I really enjoy posting about my life and also I love supporting Paul and traveling with him,” she says. “I only got to travel with Paul I think twice this summer to his away games, but I would love to keep doing that and continue being a WAG.”
